Svalbard is a dream come true for photographers, and you don’t have to be a professional to join a photo safari. The light, the landscapes, and the wildlife make every shot special. Guided photo tours take you to the best locations for capturing glaciers, reindeer, Arctic foxes, birds, and panoramic views. The guides know where to find the right conditions and often share photography tips along the way.
Some tours are short and focus on the area around Longyearbyen, while others go farther into the wilderness. Hunt for the aurora by van with a local guide, with a photo stop at the Global Seed Vault. Even without the lights, you get a memorable Arctic evening.
