The rooms
Pick your corner of the house
Every room is about 10 m² with a washbasin and mirror. Bathrooms and toilets are shared, on every floor. Bed linen, towels, wifi and breakfast come with every booking.
Single room
A quiet little space of your own. Back when this was the “millionaires’ mansion” for the most experienced miners, every room got its own washbasin. We kept that tradition and added a desk and extra storage, in case you need to get some work done.

Twin room
Room for two, with a sink and mirror just like the miners had it 50 years ago. Some twins have the original solid wooden beds that fold into sofas, others have two 90 cm beds you can push together.

Bed in a 4-bed dorm
The easy way to meet other travellers. The dorm has a washbasin, a closet for toiletries, a wardrobe and a personal locker for each guest.
Good to know: space is limited, so dorms suit backpackers best. Bring a padlock for your locker, or buy one at reception.

Bread and crispbread, cheese, ham, salami, eggs and fresh veggies, plus cereals, granola, nuts, seeds and yoghurt for a lighter start.
The star of the show is our freshly made waffles. Have them the Norwegian way, with brown cheese and jam.
