About the tour
Want to see the Northern Lights without driving a snowmobile yourself? On this evening tour you sit in a comfortable sleigh with padded seats, pulled by a modern snowmobile, while your guide takes care of everything.
We head out through Adventdalen towards Innerhytta, about 15 km each way, far from the lights of Longyearbyen.
Along the way we stop several times so you can take photos, enjoy the silence of the polar night and listen to stories about nature and life in Svalbard. When the sky is clear and the aurora is active, these stops are the perfect moment to watch the lights dance over the snowy mountains.
A great choice for families with children from 6 years, and for guests who prefer a relaxed tour.
Physical Requirements
Suitable for everyone. Wheelchair users who can stay seated during the trip are welcome, please contact us before booking.
Practical information
Included in the trip
Dress in layers – it’s the best way to stay warm. It is better to be too warm than too cold!
- Pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation
- Snowmobile suit, mittens, helmet and warm boots
- Hot drinks during the tour
- Local guide

- Warm layers under the suit, preferably wool
- Warm hat and an extra pair of gloves
- Camera and extra batteries

- Minimum age is 6 years
- The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed
- The guide may adjust the route for safety reasons

If you need to cancel, please let us know in writing. We recommend travel insurance that covers sickness and delayed or cancelled flights.
