About the tour
On this visit, you will hear the story of how Svalbard Brewery became a reality!
How former miner and pilot Robert Johansen came up with the idea of starting his own brewery on Svalbard, and the patience it took to make it happen.
You will sit in our fantastic brewery bar, with large windows looking straight down into the heart of production, hear the story, learn more about the brewing process, and taste five types of beer brewed with 2,000-year-old Arctic glacier water from Bogerbreen.

No pick-up on this tour. You can walk to the brewery; it is still situated inside the City Limit/Polar Bear Safe Zone. Taxi is also available.

8-21 days prior to arrival gives a 50% refund
0-7 days prior to departure gives no refund
Svalbard is beautiful, but also unpredictable. For your safety, our guides may need to move activities to another day or replace them with a different trip if conditions do not allow the original plan.
In rare cases, if the weather makes it impossible to run an activity at all, it may be cancelled. Should this happen, you will of course receive a full refund for the affected trip.
