Polar Night Dogsledding with Lunch
with Arctic Husky Travellers
About the tour
Join us for a dog sledding adventure in the polar night. With strong headlamps for everyone, the darkness is no problem, and with a bit of luck the Northern Lights will dance above us. Depending on the snow, the dogs pull sleds or wheeled carts.
After the trip you are invited into our cabin for lunch. Here we show pictures and tell stories from our trips around Svalbard, to the North Pole, and from Iditarod, the longest sled dog race in the world.
Arctic Husky Travellers is a small family business 10 km outside Longyearbyen, with 56 sled dogs.
Physical Requirements
Suitable for most people, beginners and experienced mushers alike.
