Polar Night Dog Sledding
with Svalbard Husky
About the tour
The polar night is a magical time, when all light comes from the moon, the stars and the Northern Lights. One of the best ways to experience it is on a dog sled, gliding quietly through the snow.
At the dog yard at the entrance of Todalen you meet the huskies and learn how to drive and handle the team. Together we harness the dogs, and in pairs you drive your own sled into the dark for 1 to 1,5 hours. If we are lucky, the aurora joins us. Back at the yard we settle the dogs and say hi to the rest of the pack and the puppies.
Physical Requirements
Average fitness. This is a physical activity where you help with the dogs. Please contact us if you are pregnant.
