Bird Spotting Excursion, followed by Arctic BBQ
with Spitzbergen Adventures
About the tour
The summer season is owned by the birds. During those weeks, we have a lot of bird species coming to Svalbard. They are all so wonderful and deserve a special focus. Join us on a tour that puts the spotlight on those amazing creatures.
Your guide will collect you from your hotel and take you to the harbour in Longyearbyen, where the enclosed speedboat Kvitbjørn awaits. This 14.9-metre vessel features a sleek, modern design, comfortable seating, and can accommodate up to 12 passengers.

Whether you’re a passionate birdwatcher or just starting out, this tour is designed for everyone. With small group sizes (2-8 people), we ensure a personalized experience and a respectful approach to wildlife, minimizing any disturbance to the birds. Walking distances can be tailored to suit the group’s preferences, allowing you to enjoy the experience at your own pace.
As a highlight, we will conclude our excursion with a delicious Arctic BBQ – though please note this may be subject to weather conditions.
