Northern Lights Adventure by Car
with Arctic Footsteps
About the tour
Leave the streetlights behind on a guided evening tour by car. We drive into Adventdalen, stop near the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, and continue towards Mine 3 or other dark spots, depending on where the aurora shows up.
At each stop you get a warm drink and cookies, while your guide tells you how the aurora works, the myths behind it, and why Svalbard is such a good place to see it. You also get tips for taking better photos.
Comfortable and easy, for first-timers and returning aurora chasers alike.
Physical Requirements
Easy. Suitable for most ages and fitness levels.
