Blomsterdalshøgda, just west of Longyearbyen, stands at 321 metres above sea level, and overlooks Adventfjorden.
Come a long on a trip with us to see Svalbard and its amazing Arctic landscape form the sea side. We take you out from Longyearbyen and head towards Barentsburg, which is the second largest town on Svalbard.
We leave the harbor in Longyearbyen on our way to Pyramiden. On our way over there, we pay a little visit to Skansbay. This bay is about 2 km long and are known for its enriching animal and plant life. Here they have also tried on a mining life, from the huge number of gypsum that this place had. This was shot down not long after. From here we go into Pyramiden, which is located in Billefjord.
It is in the untouched nature you get the most magical Svalbard experience. In the fjords, the valleys and on the mountains you find sea birds nesting. You can experience the little auk, geese, guillemots, black guillemots, gulls, fulmars and maybe even the Svalbard Ptarmigan.
