Join us on a pleasant trip out into the beautiful Adventfjorden. We paddle out from Longyearbyen, and have the majestic Hiorthfjellet in front of us.
Hiorthhamn is located on the waterfront and is a former mining town. It was established in 1917 and the entrance to the mine is 582 meters above sea level. This is a place of fascinating history and cultural heritage.
On our trip around the fjord, we can experience close contact with animal and bird life, and get a great nature experience in the kayak.
All this with qualified kayak guides and within our safety limits, so that the trip is suitable for everyone with a sense of adventure!
The trip starts with pick-up and transport to our warm boathouse. You will be given your personal kayak equipment for the day. Instruction, safety orientation and environmental information will be provided along the way.
On the way back, we pick up rubbish that appears in our path. SWE focuses on sustainability and nature conservation.
